Occasionally, DramSoc receives ticket offers or invitiations to external auditions/workshops. When that happens, we usually try and send them out to the mailing list, but we’re also keen to avoid sending you all emails every day.
To make life easier, we’re also posting these opportunities on this page as they come in – check back occasionally to see what’s going on!
For discounted tickets in particular, we’ve removed the discount codes from the text on this page, as they’re intended for our members – if you’re a member and want to take advantage of one of the offers, contact us and we’ll pass it on!
For DramSoc-based opportunities, make sure to check in on our pages for Production Roles (for – you guessed it – production roles) and Upcoming Shows (for auditions and show dates).
If you have an opportunity you’d like to offer to our members – whether it be auditions, discounted tickets, workshops, or pretty much anything even vaguely theatre related, get in touch with us at [email protected]!
On to the fun stuff!
Auditions (External)
We’re not aware of any external auditions at present, but that doesn’t mean they’re not happening! To the internet!

Inspire: Playwright Programme – Hampstead Theatre: 2 July
This year Hampstead Theatre is launching Inspire: The Next Playwright Programme, an opportunity for playwrights aged between 18 and 25 to develop their craft under the mentorship of award-winning playwright Roy Williams.
Beginning in September 2017, the playwrights will attend monthly group sessions with Roy and visiting practitioners, as well as one-on-one meetings. They will also be given the opportunity to submit drafts for feedback and to hold a reading of their work with professional actors at Hampstead Theatre. In September 2018, all drafts will be considered for presentation in our Downstairs studio, and the playwrights will meet with our Executive team to discuss their work.
The programme is completely free and we will offer a bursary of £200 towards travel throughout the year. Applications close at midnight on Sunday 2 July; more information about the programme and the application process can be found here at our website.
There is no entry fee.
